Vanderbilt is happy to announce our newest Financial Professional, Al Moore Jr.! Al is joining us from Jonesboro, AR.
Al has 7 years of experience and was most recently a Vice President of Investment Solutions at Regions Bank. He has his Series 7 and 66 licenses. He is the owner of Al Moore Financial, specializing in providing financial assistance to women in STEM fields, black entrepreneurs, military veterans, contractors and underserved communities.
Al Moore Jr., is a central Arkansas native and the youngest of 5 children; the son of a retired military veteran father and a mother who worked in healthcare. Al studied at Pulaski Technical College and Arkansas State University. He has been active in philanthropy, serving in leadership roles for organizations such as The Arkansas Urban League of Young Professionals, The Rotary After Hours Club of Little Rock, 100 Black Men of Greater Little Rock and his beloved fraternity Phi Beta Sigma. Al’s passion for finance goes back years, being inspired by the film “Pursuit of Happyness“. Touched by the story of Christopher Gardener he decided he wanted to spend his career helping families put together their financial affairs. Al spends his free time watching football and basketball, swimming, playing billiards, traveling, and spending time with his 6-month-old son Trey (Al Moore III) and his wife Evette.
