Heidi Distante joined Vanderbilt Financial Group in 2001 and served as chief of staff for seven years before rising to chief executive officer in 2019. Guided by the philosophy of “purpose, passion, n partnership,” she and her husband, VFG Chairman and Founder Steve Distante, are committed to providing investment professionals and clients with opportunities that align with their values. She oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations alongside VFG President Joe Trifletti.

Outside the office, Distante’s creativity shines through her love for baking, gardening and crafting. She is also deeply dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Affectionately known as
“Heidi the Farmer,” she co-owns Cally Farms with her husband. Located in Georgia, the farm is renowned for cultivating Paulownia trees, which grow rapidly and absorb up to 11 times more carbon dioxide than typical trees. Through Cally Farms, the Distantes exemplify their commitment to sustainable and eco-conscious living.
