Vanderbilt is happy to announce the addition of one of our newest Financial Professionals, Dr. Nicole B. Simpson, CFP®. She is joining us from Piscataway, NJ.
Nicole has 32 years of experience in financial services. She carries her Series 7, 63 & 65 licenses, as well as her Life & Health Insurance licenses, and is a Certified Financial Planner™. In 2007, Nicole founded and now serves as CEO of Harvest Wealth, a financial investment firm specializing in legacy planning, clergy compensation, and solo practitioner advising.
Entering the securities industry in 1991, she has a unique talent for monetizing business and life visions, creating strategies, and actionable plans that drive revenue, and working to address underlying emotional issues that can be obstacles to financial success. Growing up in a marginalized community in New Jersey, surviving the World Trade Center tragedy, and becoming a successful entrepreneur, Nicole has initiated and enhanced annual strategic partnerships with public and private entities to extend free financial guidance to underemployed and minority communities.
She is a Board Member of the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning Diversity Advisory Group, Chair of the Generation X Community Association, and a Board Member of Recovery House NJ. She frequently speaks on the lecture circuit and has authored several books on financial and life planning. Her most recent release The Quiet Shift, was awarded recognition with both the BookFest 2023 awards and the International Book Wards for 2023. She has been named as Investopedia’s Top 100 Advisors for 2023 and was acknowledged with an honorable mention for a Lifetime Achievement Award with Invest in Others.
Nicole received a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership with top honors from Boston University, an M.Div. Magna Cum Laude from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, and a B.S. Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University.
