Vanderbilt is happy to announce the addition of one of our newest Financial Professionals, Lynn C. Williams, Esq., CFP®! Lynn is joining us from Elmira, NY.
Lynn has 33 years of experience in financial services. She carries her Series 7, 24 & 63 licenses and is a Certified Financial Planner™. In Addition to those licenses, she is also a licensed insurance agent for Life, Disability & Long-Term Care Insurances in NY and PA. She is the Owner of Williams Capital Corporation, a firm that seeks to integrate the disciplines of tax, investments, and insurance into a comprehensive plan designed to meet the needs of individuals, families, and small businesses.
Lynn joined her father, Robert C. Williams (who retired, in July 2016), beginning her career in financial and tax services at Williams Capital Corporation in 1989. Lynn earned her A.S. in Math/Science from Corning Community College in 1987 and her B.S. degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1989. She earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2001 and in 2002 became licensed to practice law in NY.
A graduate of Southside High School (now Elmira High School) in 1985, she resides in Lowman NY with her husband Eric and children, Riley and Ryan. In her free time, she enjoys Zumba and is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, face painting at festivals and community events, and reading.
