Our CEO, Steve Distante, was a keynote speaker at the 2015 International Energy & Sustainability Conference held at Farmingdale State College. For the past four years the conference has met to focus on new technologies and advances in sustainability. The conference, held in the college’s Renewable Energy & Sustainability Center, hosts almost 40 speakers for two full days of sessions.
Steve was the keynote for a session called, Solutions and Lessons Learned: “The Importance of Sustainability for Business and Research Institutions”. Steve’s talk focused on the importance of embracing sustainability in your business regardless of your industry. HE highlighted Vanderbilt’s LEED Platinum certification, green renovation and initiatives, and focus on impact investing.
